Hwaseong Launches 'Resource Circulation Campaign' for World Environment Day
On June 5, in celebration of World Environment Day, the city of Hwaseong in Gyeonggi Province will launch a citizen participation resource circulation campaign titled "Let's Join Together with Hwaseong," running until June 20.
This campaign is designed not only to encourage individual action but also to inspire others to participate, with the goal of spreading a culture of resource circulation practices.
To participate, groups of two or more people can gather and engage in various resource circulation activities in their daily lives, such as using reusable containers, using shopping bags, or participating in sharing markets. Afterward, they should take a verification photo and submit it via QR code or Naver Form.
The campaign is open to everyone, with no restrictions on activity locations, and examples of participation will be shared on the Resource Circulation Division blog of the city government.
Participants in the campaign will have a chance to win official Hwaseong character "Koryo" umbrellas and eco-friendly kitchen kits through a drawing. Further details can be found on the Resource Circulation Division blog of Hwaseong City.
