President Lee also announced the nomination of former Minister of Unification Jongseok Lee as the candidate for Director of the National Intelligence Service, and the appointment of lawmaker Hoonshik Kang as Chief Presidential Secretary. Lawmaker Seongrak Wi was appointed as Chief of the National Security Office, and former Army General Inkwon Hwang will serve as Chief of Presidential Security.
