BNK Kyongnam Bank Launches 'Postpaid Hi-Pass Card SIM Type'
Small Size Like a Mobile USIM
Usable in SIM-Type Dedicated In-Vehicle Devices (OBU)
BNK Kyongnam Bank announced on June 4 that it has launched and is currently selling the 'Postpaid Hi-Pass Card SIM Type.'
The Postpaid Hi-Pass SIM Type is a Hi-Pass card that is small in size, similar to a mobile phone USIM, and can be used in SIM-type dedicated in-vehicle devices (OBU).
In particular, it is easy to install as it can be easily removed and inserted when transferring or replacing it to another vehicle. Unlike prepaid payment, which requires pre-charging a balance, it offers postpaid payment functionality, making it more convenient.
Currently, the Hi-Pass SIM Type can be used in vehicle models equipped with a dedicated SIM-type OBU, such as Lexus, Toyota, Renault, and KG Mobility, and the range of compatible vehicles is gradually expanding.
Applications for issuance of the Postpaid Hi-Pass SIM Type can be made at all BNK Kyongnam Bank branches. (BC agency)
Lee Dongwon, Head of the Payment Business Department, stated, "We have launched a new type of Hi-Pass card to meet customer needs. If you are a Kyongnam BC Card member using a Hi-Pass dedicated SIM-type OBU, we hope you will issue the Postpaid Hi-Pass Card SIM Type for a simple and convenient experience."
Meanwhile, BNK Kyongnam Bank is also selling 'THE CARD 1472 (Ilsacheolli),' which is specialized for transportation and fuel, in addition to the regular and SIM types of Postpaid Hi-Pass Cards.
Cardholders can receive billing discounts such as 10% off on railways, buses, and subways, and 5% off on airlines and taxis.
Additional benefits include a discount of 60 KRW per liter at all domestic gas stations and a 5% billing discount for automatic payments at restaurants and mobile carriers.
