The event served as a symbol of over a decade of exchange and cooperation between Korea and Vietnam and was part of the Korea Multicultural Foundation's ongoing support program for children with intractable diseases.
At the venue, children with pediatric cancer received nutritious meals, thoughtfully prepared gift sets, fruit, and lunchboxes. Local children from Hanoi also gave performances, providing a heartwarming and moving experience.
The event was co-hosted by Hanoi Ensacho Elementary School (Principal Mai) and local volunteers. Volunteers visited hospital rooms to personally deliver gifts and offer words of comfort to the children undergoing treatment.
Principal Mai stated, "The support from the Korea Multicultural Foundation goes beyond material assistance; it is a true act of love that gives hope to the children. I am deeply grateful that, at least for today, the children could forget about their illness and smile."
Chairman Kwon Jaehaeng said, "We have always taken the lead in practicing love that transcends borders. We will continue to stand by Vietnamese children so they can dream of a bright and healthy future."
Although Korean sponsors could not attend the event in person, their heartfelt support was delivered to the children and made a significant impact. Throughout the venue, the message "A small act of sharing can create a great miracle" resonated, adding to the emotional atmosphere.
