Chairman Eunbo Jung of Korea Exchange Departs to Attend WFE Board Meeting
Korea Exchange announced on June 2 that Chairman Eunbo Jung will depart for Singapore on June 3 to attend the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) 2025 second board meeting.
Korea Exchange participates in setting major agendas for the global capital market as the representative director for the Asia-Pacific region on the WFE board.
At this board meeting, participants will share recent trends in major capital markets such as the United States and the European Union (EU), and discuss key issues in the capital market related to changes in the global exchange market environment, including the introduction of 24/7 trading.
Chairman Jung plans to explore Korea Exchange's strategic direction in response to these developments and discuss ways to cooperate with overseas exchanges. He will also attend the WFE Sustainability Conference to exchange views with experts on the role of exchanges in sustainable finance.
