Pyeongtaek City Offers Start-up and Housing Purchase Support for Return-to-Farming Residents
Up to 300 Million Won for Start-up Loans,
Up to 75 Million Won for Housing Loans
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province will be accepting applications for the "Agricultural Start-up and Housing Purchase Support Project" for return-to-farming residents from June 4 to June 18.
This project provides loans to return-to-farming residents or those wishing to return to farming who are 65 years old or younger and have completed at least 8 hours of agricultural education, to help them secure agricultural infrastructure and residential space.
The number of recipients will be determined based on the budget allocation for each city and county by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. The final beneficiaries will be selected through a document review and interview evaluation.
Selected return-to-farming residents can receive loans of up to 300 million won for agricultural start-up funds. In addition, they can borrow up to 75 million won separately for housing purchases. The agricultural start-up funds can be used for various purposes, including purchasing farmland, building greenhouses and warehouses, establishing orchards, and purchasing agricultural machinery and trucks.
