Icheon City Recruiting Participants for "Safe Drive, Equal Road" Program for Female Drivers
A Hands-On Program Focused on Engine Oil Checks,
Coolant and Brake Inspections, and More
The Icheon Volunteer Center in Gyeonggi Province is accepting applications until June 30 for participants in the "Safe Drive, Equal Road" program, which provides education on basic car inspection methods and more for female drivers.
This program, supported by the city's Gender Equality Fund, was established to promote a safe traffic culture by strengthening female drivers' driving safety capabilities and improving their independent vehicle management skills.
Any woman residing in Icheon is eligible to apply. Each session will be run with a small group of around 10 participants. Both participation and materials are provided free of charge.
The program will be held at the Icheon Volunteer Center over a total of 10 sessions, from June 10 to October 30.

The curriculum consists of hands-on training using actual vehicles, covering topics such as basic car inspection methods, oil changes, checking tire pressure, engine oil checks, and inspecting the coolant and brake systems.
