View original imageDonggu District in Gwangju announced on the 1st that the 'E.T (East Tigers) Baseball Team' won first place at the '3rd Imansu Cup T-ball Baseball Tournament for People with Developmental Disabilities,' which was held on the 30th of last month at Jeonho Life Baseball Stadium in Gimpo City.
This tournament, jointly organized by the Hulk Foundation and the Korea Baseball Softball Association for People with Developmental Disabilities, was a national-level baseball event for people with developmental disabilities. A total of nine teams from across the country participated, engaging in fierce competition. The E.T Baseball Team achieved a remarkable feat by winning the championship in their first-ever attempt on the national stage.
Im Taek, head of Donggu District, stated, "This victory is a precious result achieved through the passion of the players, as well as the support of hometown donors over the past three years." He added, "We will take this opportunity to further promote the value of the E.T Baseball Team, which continues to thrive thanks to the warm participation of hometown donors."
