In particular, the joint direct market, which is being promoted to revitalize exchanges between urban and rural areas, is scheduled to be held in September at the plaza of a large apartment complex in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The Deukryangman-Gangjinman Regional Administrative Council plans to continue efforts to secure sales channels for the region's excellent agricultural and marine products through this direct market event.
Choo Sanghee, Director of Planning and Public Relations at Jangheung County, stated, "Based on the cooperative system that has continued for several years among the four counties, we will also successfully implement the joint projects planned for this year, so that the operation of the Deukryangman-Gangjinman Regional Administrative Council can become a model case of inter-municipal cooperation."
Since its launch in 2016, the Deukryangman-Gangjinman Regional Administrative Council has been promoting a variety of joint projects in various fields to enhance friendship and shared prosperity among neighboring local governments.
