Chain-reaction Collision Near Namgu District Office in Gwangju Injures Five
A chain-reaction collision occurred near Namgu District Office in Gwangju, resulting in five people being injured.
At around 3:10 p.m. on May 29, a K9 sedan crossed the centerline while driving on a road in Baegundong, Namgu, Gwangju, and collided with a Grandeur sedan.
Due to the impact, the K9 was deflected toward the Namgu District Office city bus stop, where it was involved in a secondary collision with a motorcycle and a city bus.
As a result of the accident, the K9 driver was found in cardiac arrest and was transported to the hospital by fire authorities.
The drivers of the Grandeur and the motorcycle also sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital, while two other individuals decided to seek medical treatment later, bringing the total number of injured to five.
Police who responded to the scene controlled traffic to manage the accident and are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the crash.
