It comprehensively evaluates health, environmental, and social values, and is awarded to products and services of companies that have made efforts in creative product development, service activities, environmental management, and social contribution.
Since the launch of its brand, Kyowon Wells has consistently focused on providing healthy and clean water and reducing environmental impact. Both Slim One and Ice One, which have received LOHAS certification, use R600a, a natural refrigerant that is low in greenhouse gas emissions and non-toxic, and are equipped with automatic power-saving features. In addition, their size has been reduced by more than 30% compared to previous models.
In particular, Slim One, which was launched in April, received high marks in the health-oriented category of the LOHAS evaluation. Its triple mineral filter system provides essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and silica at levels comparable to natural spring water across the country, while removing 99.9% of harmful substances including heavy metals, microplastics, and norovirus. The product was also recognized for its excellence in features such as automatic UV sterilization and user experience (UX) designed to accommodate socially disadvantaged groups.
