Gongju City Council Chairperson Im Dalhee Participates in Early Voting for 21st Presidential Election
Im Dalhee, Chairperson of the Gongju City Council and a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, cast her valuable vote at the Gongju Singwan-dong early voting station on May 29, the first day of early voting for the 21st presidential election, accompanied by her spouse.
Visiting the polling station at 7:30 a.m. that day, Chairperson Im emphasized, "Voting is the most fundamental way to realize democracy," and added, "The participation of each and every voter is a precious starting point for changing our society."
She went on to say, "For those who may find it difficult to vote on election day, I hope you will exercise your valuable right through early voting."
Chairperson Im is known for consistently emphasizing active civic participation and political responsibility, and her encouragement of early voting on this occasion is also seen as part of her efforts to help voters exercise their rights.
Meanwhile, early voting for the 21st presidential election is being held nationwide at all early voting stations on May 29 and 30, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The main voting day is June 3.
