Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services Publishes Manual for Eco-friendly Apple Pest and Disease Management
The Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services has produced and published a "Manual for Pest and Disease Management in Eco-friendly Apple Cultivation."
The manual has been created as a handbook-style e-book for easy reference anytime and anywhere, and is organized into sections on diseases and pests.
In particular, it contains response strategies and management guidelines for pest and disease issues in eco-friendly apple orchards, including stink bugs, which are a significant problem in eco-friendly cultivation.

Choi Byeongyeol, Director of the Eco-friendly Microorganism Research Center at the Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services, stated, "Since 2023, we have been developing integrated pest control technologies for pests occurring in eco-friendly apple orchards," and added, "We hope that this manual, which contains our research achievements, will help increase the income and improve the management of apple growers."
