Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly's Experiential Legislative Promotion Center Draws 120 Daily Visitors
The number of Gyeonggi Province residents visiting "Gyeonggi Maru," the experiential legislative promotion center operated by the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly, is on the rise.
Gyeonggi Maru is a complex cultural legislative promotion center established by the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly on the first floor of its new building in Gwanggyo, Suwon, in March 2022. It incorporates advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), and information and communication technology (ICT), allowing visitors to easily experience the history and activities of the assembly. It is the first of its kind among local assemblies nationwide.
As of May 2025, the cumulative number of visitors has reached approximately 77,000, with an average of 120 people visiting per day.

Kim Jinkyung, Chairperson of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly (Democratic Party of Korea, Siheung 3), stated, "Tailored promotion that reflects the perspectives and viewpoints of residents is essential in line with the growth of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly." She added, "We will actively utilize Gyeonggi Maru as a space for communication, where legislative activities can be conveyed more easily and the vivid voices of residents can be heard directly on site."
