Namwon City in North Jeolla Province will resume the airport bus route operating between Namwon and Incheon Airport starting from the 4th of next month.
According to the city on the 27th, the resumption of this service is intended to address the inconvenience experienced by citizens who needed to use the airport bus, which had been suspended since 2020 due to COVID-19, and to enhance transportation convenience.

View original imageThis route will operate between Donggwangyang, Gwangyang, Suncheon, Gurye, Namwon, and Incheon International Airport.
There will be one round trip per day from Namwon. The bus heading to Incheon Airport will depart from Namwon Intercity Bus Terminal at 1:40 a.m., while the return bus will depart from Incheon Airport Terminals 1 and 2 at 9:00 a.m., allowing citizens to travel to and from the airport comfortably.
The resumption of this service was promoted through cooperation among Namwon City, North Jeolla Province, and the transportation company (Kumho Express). After the airport bus service begins, the city plans to closely monitor usage and changes in demand, and will actively consider increasing the number of trips if the number of passengers grows.
A city official stated, "We are very pleased that the airport bus route is resuming operations," adding, "We will continue to prioritize the convenience of our citizens by improving transportation services and expanding the local transportation network."
