View original imageThe meeting, presided over by Jinan County Governor Jeon Chunseong, was attended by relevant department heads, the heads of 11 towns and townships, and about 20 other participants.
At the meeting, Governor Jeon emphasized the importance of promoting fair elections, including political neutrality among public officials, operating polling stations without causing inconvenience to residents, and encouraging voter participation.
Governor Jeon Chunseong stated, "I hope that all public officials will maintain strict political neutrality with a sense of responsibility and make every effort to promote voter participation among county residents."
He added, "I also ask that you thoroughly inspect polling stations in advance and ensure the smooth operation of both early voting and regular polling stations so that every resident can cast their valuable vote without inconvenience."
Furthermore, he said, "The right to vote, which we now take for granted, is the result of countless sacrifices and social consensus achieved through democracy," and requested, "I urge all county residents to participate in this meaningful election that will determine the future of our country and to exercise your precious right to vote."
Governor Jeon also asked for active promotion of village broadcasts, transportation support plans for voters in areas with transportation difficulties, and vehicle provision plans for voters with mobility challenges such as people with disabilities and pregnant women.
Meanwhile, the county is continuously promoting the 21st presidential election to residents through various channels, including village broadcasts, LED electronic displays, banners, the official website, social media, administrative phone call connection tones, and text messages.
