Three Topics Including AI Education and Diversity Policies
Applications Accepted via Gukmin Sinmungo Until June 8
The Gwangju Office of Education will operate the intensive application period for Gwangju education proposals for the first half of this year from May 26 to June 8.

View original imageThe topics are as follows: ▲ Future education plans utilizing AI and digital programs and software (SW); ▲ Realization plans for the five key Gwangju education policies (diversity, responsibility, fairness, future, and coexistence education) and the three priority tasks (improving competency embracing diversity, AI education, and civic governance); ▲ Other proposals for the development of Gwangju education.
Anyone in the country can participate in the contest, and proposals can be submitted through the Gukmin Sinmungo website. Outstanding proposals will be reviewed and announced on the Gwangju Office of Education website in July. Depending on the grade, the superintendent's commendation and prize money will be awarded.
Superintendent Lee Jungseon stated, "We will actively operate the national proposal system so that various suggestions from citizens, parents, and public officials are reflected in education policies," and added, "Based on participation and communication, we will realize 'Gwangju Education for All.'"
