Modern and Contemporary Architecture Cultural Heritage Revitalization Contest
Open Call for Ideas to Preserve and Utilize Gunsan's Heritage
The Cultural Heritage Administration announced on the 26th that it will hold the "Modern and Contemporary Architecture Cultural Heritage Revitalization Contest" in collaboration with Docomomo Korea. The contest aims to shed new light on the cultural heritage value and significance of modern and contemporary architecture, and to discover ideas for its preservation and utilization.
This year's theme is "Architecture Connecting Time: A New Breath for Gunsan." The contest seeks practical preservation and utilization alternatives to improve public perception of modern and contemporary buildings. Submissions are accepted for single, complex, landscape, facility, and technology plans targeting registered cultural heritage sites in Gunsan and surrounding areas where modern and contemporary heritage is concentrated.
