On May 23, the Lotte Scholarship Foundation held the "2025 Shin Kyukho Lotte Artist Independence Support Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony" at the Kyowon Tour Concert Hall in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and awarded a total of 60 million won in scholarships to 12 promising talents in the classical field, including vocalists and pianists, the foundation announced on May 26.

View original imageThis year, the foundation selected scholarship recipients through three tracks: "Artistic Talent Support" for university students majoring in the arts, "Artist Step-up Support" for emerging artists in the early stages of their careers after graduation, and "Artist Independence Support" for established artists facing financial difficulties. Depending on the type of support, each recipient receives between 4 million and 6 million won in scholarships.
