3.55 Trillion Won Supplementary Budget to Be Executed This Year... "Proactive Workforce Recruitment"
The Small Enterprise and Market Service (SEMAS) announced on May 26, 2025, that it will hire 152 new employees in the first half of the year to expedite the execution of an additional supplementary budget totaling 3.55 trillion won.
This recruitment drive includes 85 permanent positions and 67 contract positions. For permanent positions, SEMAS is hiring 64 for general administrative duties, 20 for administrative IT duties, and 1 for administrative safety management. For contract positions, the agency is recruiting 51 for policy fund repayment extension support, 10 for research (Ph.D. holders), and 6 for administrative research support.

View original imageSEMAS has been allocated a total of 3.55 trillion won in the supplementary budget for small enterprise support, out of the 5.1 trillion won 'Livelihood Recovery Support' supplementary budget for 2025. To maximize the effectiveness of the policy through swift budget execution, SEMAS is proactively securing the necessary workforce for policy implementation in close cooperation with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, leading to this large-scale recruitment in the first half of the year.
The application period for documents runs from today until 5:00 p.m. on June 9. For permanent positions, the process includes document screening, a written exam, and an interview. For contract positions, the process consists of document screening and an interview. The appointment date for permanent employees is July 18, while contract employees will be appointed on June 30.
