Guro District Encourages Voter Participation in the 21st Presidential Election
Diversified Election Promotion Using Smart Poles and Apartment Media Boards
Providing Election Information Through Large Media Canvas on District Office Exterior
Guro District (District Mayor Jang Inhong) is launching comprehensive promotional activities to encourage residents to participate in voting ahead of the 21st presidential election, which will be held on June 3, 2025.
Since May 15, the district has been continuously displaying election schedule information on 302 smart poles (intelligent pillars) equipped with electronic display boards throughout the area. The displayed message, "The 21st Presidential Election on June 3, 2025 (Early voting: May 29-30)," has been standardized to make it easy for voters to remember.
In addition, the district is providing visual election information using a large media canvas on the exterior wall of the district office. Banners and pole advertisements containing the voting date and time have also been installed at 16 local community centers to encourage voter participation throughout the area.
Promotional activities are also being conducted through social media platforms.
The district is providing detailed information on the schedules, locations, and voting procedures for both early voting and the main election through various channels, including its official blog, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. The goal is to encourage participation from voters of all generations through accessible social media platforms.
Additionally, starting May 26, election information will be broadcast on 1,528 media boards installed in apartment complexes, and on the day before and the day of both early voting and the main election, direct voter encouragement broadcasts will be conducted using the management office broadcasting system.
Early voting will take place from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on May 29 and 30, and the main election will be held from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on June 3.
