The staff purchased local agricultural products, which were then prepared into side dishes and other foods by the institute’s kitchen staff. These meals were delivered to 25 households of vulnerable groups in the community, including elderly people living alone and grandparent-grandchild families.
Additionally, the institute distributed approximately 200 pre-prepared 'Integrity Culture' shopping bags to traditional market merchants and customers, providing a meaningful opportunity to promote the institution’s commitment to integrity as a public organization within the local community.
Director Lee Hanyong stated, "This event was a valuable opportunity not only to share with those in need, but also to promote mutual growth with local businesses and strengthen our employees’ sense of community by engaging with the local society. As a public institution, we will continue to seek ways to support our neighbors in need and contribute to regional mutual growth."
The Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Talent Development Institute, a specialized educational institution for training personnel for Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power and its partner companies, continues to carry out community volunteer activities each year as a leading local company. These include donating educational books to local children’s centers and providing side dish volunteer services for vulnerable groups, utilizing its own infrastructure.
