Overview of 1,330 Industrial Complexes at a Glance... "National Industrial Complex Status Map" Published
On May 23, Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced the publication of the "2025 National Industrial Complex Status Map," which visually presents updated location information for industrial complexes across the country.
This status map was created to provide an overview of the spatial distribution of industrial complexes and their status by province and city, based on data as of the end of December last year. It includes the distribution status of a total of 1,330 industrial complexes, as well as detailed information by province and city.
The map allows users to see at a glance key indicators such as the type of industrial complex?including national industrial complexes, general industrial complexes, urban high-tech industrial complexes, and agro-industrial complexes?as well as the area of each complex and the status of aging complexes. This publication also contains the characteristics of industrial complexes and the status of tenant companies by province and city, making it a practical foundational resource for the development and support of regional industrial policies by local governments.
The "2025 National Industrial Complex Status Map and Booklet" will be distributed to approximately 320 organizations, including the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, local governments, and related institutions. It will also be available for viewing on the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation website.
