The delegation reviewed Daegu Cyber University's founding philosophy, its independently developed advanced online content production system, and its smart lecture management system, thereby confirming the university's digital education capabilities.
In particular, the delegation was deeply impressed by the university's dedicated efforts for the advancement of special education in Korea after watching the documentary "Descend to the Lowly," which chronicles the life of the late Pastor Lee Youngsik.
Last year, Daegu Cyber University, together with the International Cooperation Leading University Project Group of Changwon National University, held a workshop in Nepal to discuss ways to advance special schools, thereby laying the foundation for ongoing international cooperation.
Lee Geunyong, President of Daegu Cyber University, stated, "In order to fulfill our global responsibilities as a university, we will continue to expand practical cooperation models with overseas universities," adding, "We will further strengthen our efforts to nurture global talent and address educational disparities by leveraging the strengths of online education."
With this visit as a starting point, Daegu Cyber University is expected to further solidify its status as a hub for higher education in Asia in the future.
