Now in its 27th year, the Chungnam Commercial Competition is designed to help commercial high school students develop practical skills and foster creative problem-solving abilities, so that they can grow into key members of future society.
At this year's competition, students from 18 commercial schools in Chungnam, who advanced through school-level preliminaries, competed in a total of 12 categories to demonstrate their specialized practical skills.
At Cheonan Commercial High School, competitions were held in 11 categories, including accounting practice, office administration, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and career planning presentations.
The hotel food and beverage service practice category was held at the Seonghwan High School competition venue.
Students who achieve outstanding results in each category at this competition will represent Chungnam at the 15th National Commercial Competition, which will be held in Gyeongsangbuk-do for three days starting September 2.
Chungnam Superintendent of Education Kim Jicheol visited the competition venue on the day of the event and said, "I would like to thank the students and teachers who have worked hard to prepare for this competition. I expect that this event will provide commercial students with opportunities to take on new challenges and will contribute to nurturing commercial talent who will lead a future-oriented, competency-based society."
