Gyeonggi Province Conducts Second Round of Volunteer Activities in Andong Wildfire-Affected Village
Gyeonggi Province visited Wonrim 2-ri, Namsan-myeon, Andong City, which was affected by a wildfire, to carry out volunteer activities.
Gyeonggi Province announced that over two days from the 20th to the 21st, 60 volunteers from six organizations?including the Gyeonggi Provincial Government, Gyeonggi Volunteer Center, Paju Volunteer Center, Gyeonggi Beauty Social Cooperative, Gyeonggi Nursing Assistant Association, and Gyeyang Electric?were dispatched to the site to provide secondary on-site support.
Over the two days, the volunteers provided a variety of services, including laundry service, hairdressing and barbering, foot massage, assisting in apple orchards, and making outdoor benches. In particular, the benches and platforms made by Gyeyang Electric volunteers were installed as village rest areas and received a positive response from residents.

Previously, from the 14th to the 18th, 20 volunteers from the Ansan and Suwon Volunteer Centers supported meal services at the evacuee shelter at Gilan Middle School, delivering warmth and solidarity to the affected residents.
