Public Procurement Service Holds Idea Contest for "Artificial Intelligence Application" in Public Procurement
The Public Procurement Service announced on May 21 that it will hold the "2025 Public Procurement Artificial Intelligence (AI) Utilization Idea Contest" from May 21 to June 13, 2025.
The contest is being held to discover ideas that can improve procurement tasks and working methods by integrating and utilizing AI in the field of public procurement.
The contest is divided into two categories: "AI Utilization Ideas" for improving procurement tasks and processes, and "Ideas for Improving Working Methods" using AI.
The Public Procurement Service plans to select one grand prize winner per category (1 million KRW and a commendation from the Administrator of the Public Procurement Service), two excellence award winners (300,000 KRW and a commendation), and three encouragement award winners (200,000 KRW).
Anyone in the country, including companies, organizations, and students, can participate in the contest. Further details, including how to apply, are available on the Public Procurement Service website.
