In particular, more than 20 outstanding private organizations and institutions specializing in character education, such as the Chungnam regional character education teacher club, the Korea Confucian Culture Promotion Institute, Namseoul University, Daeheung Hyanggyo, and the Korea Play Culture Branch, drew attention by offering a variety of character and play experience activities.
Main activities included animal-assisted healing sessions, the 10.9-second life-respect timer challenge, "Will the Jegi Remain!", "Will I Remain!", the power of color to awaken self-esteem, building character through board games, "Seonbi Bbumbbum," writing a single stroke of beautiful calligraphy, and making commemorative goods for Yun Bonggil.
Other programs included the mysterious world of sand play, making eco-friendly bags to express love for the Earth, "Empathy with the Heart" through tarot cards, archery and Ssangyuk games, writing family mottos, and creating happiness notebooks for oneself.
Kim Ji-cheol, Superintendent of Chungnam Office of Education, said, "I hope that all members of the educational community who participated in today's event created enjoyable and precious memories, and that this will help strengthen family relationships. We will continue to actively prepare various character education programs that families can participate in together so that students can develop sound character starting from home."
