During their meeting with Busan Port Authority, Vice Minister Bayardo and his delegation discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the ports of both countries and were briefed on Busan Port's operational methods and future development plans. They also boarded a port tour vessel to directly observe the North Port, redevelopment areas, and experience Busan Port's efficient operating system firsthand.
Busan Port Authority plans to use this visit as an opportunity to expand exchange and cooperation with Honduras in the port sector. Honduras, located north of the Panama Canal, enjoys a geographical advantage and is working to boost trade centered on Puerto Cortes and San Lorenzo ports.
A BPA official stated, "We hope that Busan Port's advanced port operation expertise will provide practical benefits to the development and operation of Honduran ports," adding, "We will continue to strengthen our global port network going forward."
