Yong Seokwoo, President of Samsung Electronics' Visual Display Business Division, will assume the position of Chairman of the Korea Electronics and Telecommunications Industry Promotion Association (KEA), succeeding the late Han Jonghee, former Vice Chairman and CEO of Samsung Electronics.
The Korea Electronics and Telecommunications Industry Promotion Association announced on the 19th that President Yong will be inaugurated as the 21st chairman.
He identified the following as key areas of focus: strengthening trade response to prepare for supply chain restructuring, supporting the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI), and promoting communication between the public and private sectors.

He added, "We will develop 'Tech-GPT' to support global open innovation in the era of artificial intelligence transformation (AX), and expand the foundation for applying on-device AI to small and medium-sized home appliances, thereby fostering a healthy cooperative ecosystem where large and small companies can grow together."
