Dongsin University Department of Police Administration Holds Ministry of Justice Public Official Recruitment Briefing

View original imageDongsin University announced on the 19th that it recently held a "Ministry of Justice Public Official Recruitment Briefing" to broaden students' career options within their majors.
The briefing, which was held for 53 students from the Department of Police Administration across all four years, was organized with support from the University Job Plus Center. An official from the Gwangju Youth Delinquency Prevention Center participated as a lecturer and delivered a practical presentation.
The session provided detailed information on topics such as the concept of Ministry of Justice public officials, affiliated ministries and agencies, main duties, the selection process for protection officers, and recent competition rates.
It was particularly emphasized that Ministry of Justice public officials are responsible for duties such as corrections, protection, and immigration to safeguard human rights and maintain social order, and that protection officers play a key role in assisting the social reintegration of juvenile delinquents and individuals under probation, making a strong sense of duty essential.
Kim Yonggeun, head of the Department of Police Administration at Dongsin University, said, "I hope this briefing has helped students gain insight into roles they were previously unfamiliar with and expanded their career choices. We will continue to actively provide information on various career fields so that students can design career paths that suit them."
