Hapcheon County Holds 2025 Employee Capacity Building Workshop
Relieving Stress and Gaining Positive Energy
Hapcheon County in South Gyeongsang Province announced on May 19 that it held the "2025 Employee Capacity Building Workshop" to provide staff with an opportunity to recharge amid their busy work schedules, relieve stress, and foster positive energy, thereby contributing to organizational revitalization.
This workshop was held over two sessions from May 12 to May 20, with approximately 340 Hapcheon County employees participating. The program was conducted in two groups (the first group from May 12 to 13, and the second group from May 19 to 20), with each session lasting one night and two days.
The workshop, which took place in Geoje, included a variety of activities: a special lecture on stress and health management; healing experiences selected by the employees themselves (aromatherapy and tea therapy); a time for communication and dinner with the county governor; and stress management through mindfulness meditation.
In particular, employees had a meaningful time healing their stress in nature through a cruise tour of Oedo and Haegeumgang, recharging both body and mind in the sea and forest.
Kim Yuncheol, Governor of Hapcheon County, encouraged the staff, who had accumulated fatigue due to consecutive emergency duties, stating, "Through this workshop, boosting employee morale and psychological stability can directly lead to improved quality of administrative services," and added, "We will continue to spare no effort in providing various support for the mental health of public officials in the future."
