The Korea International Freight Forwarders Association (KIFFA) announced on May 16 that it held the '2025 International Logistics Breakfast Forum' at Lotte Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul.

View original imageApproximately 140 executives and employees from related organizations attended the forum, including member companies of the association, Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority, Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Incheon International Airport Corporation, and Korea International Trade Association.
Won Jecheol, President of KIFFA, stated, "Technological innovation, including artificial intelligence (AI), is reshaping the entire structure of society. At this point, we need to seriously consider how we can survive and grow within this massive trend." He added, "Now is the time to create new value and competitiveness by integrating AI and digital technology into the logistics industry. An era has arrived where it is difficult to survive at all unless we prepare for the future."
He continued, "The association has continuously worked to establish the institutional foundation of the international logistics industry and to secure its rightful status. We will do our utmost to propose and implement practical policies and alternatives for the future of the international logistics industry."

Afterward, Park Youngsun, former Minister of SMEs and Startups, delivered a special lecture on the theme of "Strategies for the Future Economy (Survival in the AI Era)." She said, "The landscape of the AI hegemony race is not just about introducing new technology; we must examine in various ways how AI development will impact our lives." She continued, "Just as companies like IBM, Microsoft, Apple, and Google once dominated, we must actively prepare for survival in the AI era by considering who will lead the industry in this new age and what strategies Korean companies should adopt to compete."
