View original imageChungnam Province announced that it participated in the K-Tourism Festa at the '2025 Osaka Expo' held in Osaka, Japan, where it carried out activities to attract tourists.
The K-Tourism Festa, hosted by the Korea Tourism Organization, is a global tourism promotion event that took place at the Osaka Expo site from the 13th to the 16th.
A total of 42 organizations, including local governments, airlines, and travel agencies, participated in the event to promote tourism to Korea.
They operated various programs to attract visitors, such as the K-Food Zone, K-Culture Stage, Korean cultural experience spaces, and photo zones.
During the event, the province jointly operated a Chungnam tourism promotional booth with Asan City, Hongseong County, and the Chungnam Culture and Tourism Foundation.
Additionally, Chungnam provided local travel agencies with information on seasonal and themed travel courses, accommodations, and gastronomy in the province, accelerating efforts to vitalize Chungnam tourism products.
An official from the province stated, "Japan is historically and culturally close to Chungnam and is the country with the second largest number of visitors to Korea," adding, "By participating in this event, we will actively promote customized content for Japanese tourists and use this as an opportunity to broaden the foundation for attracting Japanese visitors."
