Gwangju University to Offer Step-by-Step Digital Competency Enhancement Program
Gwangju University Career Plus Center announced on May 15 that it will operate a step-by-step program to strengthen digital competencies required by companies on May 28 and 29.
This program is being offered in response to the growing importance of digital citizenship in the era of the digital revolution, where digital platforms such as smartphones are widely used. The program consists of two stages: Stage 1, "Mastering with Your Mobile Phone," and Stage 2, "Creating SNS Promotional Materials."
Specifically, the training will cover camera shooting techniques using mobile phones, as well as methods for creating thumbnails and card news using PowerPoint. The program will accept 20 participants per stage on a first-come, first-served basis, including both current students and graduates.
Shin Chunwoo, professor of the Department of Accounting and Taxation and head of the Career Plus Center, said, "I hope that Gwangju University students will be able to strengthen their employment competencies and explore career fields through special lectures on recruitment trends and job preparation strategies, providing an opportunity for successful employment."
