KB Kookmin Card Delivers Wish Gifts to 555 Children
Donations Raised Through Employee Walking Campaign
'WE:SH DREAM' Initiative in Action
On May 15, KB Kookmin Card announced that it had delivered gifts to 555 children using 100 million won raised through its employee walking donation campaign, 'WE:SH DREAM'.
Through 50 social welfare organizations nationwide, the company collected wishes from children from low-income families and provided gifts tailored to each child's story.
A child dreaming of becoming a badminton player received a new racket and sportswear, while a child aspiring to be a trot singer was given a janggu drum. A child who wants to become a fairy tale writer received art supplies, and a child dreaming of becoming an English teacher was given educational materials.
A KB Kookmin Card representative said, "It is even more meaningful because employees can easily participate in donation activities in their daily lives and give children precious memories," adding, "We will continue our sustainable social contribution activities in the future."
