Jeonbuk Province Recruiting Participants for 'Youth Job Internship' Until May 29

Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province and the Jeonbuk Center for Creative Economy and Innovation are recruiting participants for the '2025 Second Half Jeonbuk Youth Job Internship' program until May 29.
According to the province on May 15, the 'Jeonbuk Youth Job Internship' is a flagship youth employment program in Jeonbuk that aims to strengthen young people's employability by allowing them to gain hands-on job experience at public institutions and private companies within the province.

View original imageIn particular, during the first half of this year, 213 young people participated across 37 institutions and companies, with a high level of interest evidenced by a competitive ratio of approximately 5.8:1 (1,226 applicants).
For the second half, a total of 39 institutions and companies?including existing participants such as Jeonbuk Bank and Jeonbuk International Cooperation Agency, as well as new participants like LS Mtron and Jeonju Communication and Cooperation Center?will offer internship programs. The total number of selected interns will be 220.
The final selected interns will participate in internships at companies and institutions within the province for about five weeks, from July 14 to August 14, gaining practical work experience in their desired fields. Before the official start of the internship, participants will also have the opportunity to strengthen their practical adaptability and job preparation skills through pre-internship job training.
This program is evaluated as a mutually beneficial project that provides local youth with practical opportunities to prepare for employment, while also giving companies a platform to discover and assess promising local talent directly.
Youth who wish to participate can apply exclusively online through the 'Jeonbuk Youth Job Internship' website, where detailed application procedures and recruitment fields are also available.
Kim Intae, Director of Corporate Attraction Support at the province, stated, "The Jeonbuk Youth Job Internship program goes beyond simple work experience, offering young people the opportunity to assess their own capabilities and lay the foundation for growth," and added, "We will continue to promote various policies to create an environment where local youth can work and settle stably in Jeonbuk."
