Chungnam to Operate Tourism Promotion Booth
at Korea's Largest Tourism and Festival Exhibition
The Chungnam Provincial Government announced that it will participate in the 'K-Festival & Travel Show 2025' held at KINTEX in Ilsan for four days from May 15 to May 18, operating a Chungnam Tourism Promotion Booth.
This event is the largest tourism and festival exhibition in Korea, with 150 organizations, groups, and companies from across the country participating and operating over 300 booths.
The province, in collaboration with Nonsan and Dangjin cities, will set up a joint promotion booth to highlight major Chungnam festivals such as the Baekje Cultural Festival, Boryeong Mud Festival, Geumsan Ginseng Festival, Cheonan K-Culture Expo, and Hansan Ramie Fabric Cultural Festival.
In addition, there will be a space where visitors can experience Nonsan's main tourist attractions through virtual reality (VR), as well as hands-on programs such as tasting Dangjin's traditional liquor (Dugyeonju) and making Baekje golden crowns.
Other unique contents from each city and county will also be showcased, including the Sapgyo Lake Drone Light Show (Dangjin) and the Ganggyeong Fermented Seafood Festival (Nonsan).
A provincial official said, "We have prepared experiential content so that visitors can easily discover the appeal of Chungnam's representative festivals at a glance," and added, "During the event, we will actively promote Chungnam's tourism resources so that more tourists will visit Chungnam during the 2025-2026 Chungnam Visit Years."
