A Step Forward with Innovation and Proactive Administration
Sacheon City in South Gyeongsang Province held the 'Municipal Innovation and Proactive Administration Capacity Building Workshop' at the Sacheon City Library auditorium, with the participation of over 100 employees.
The workshop, held on May 14, was organized to strengthen the capabilities of public officials to proactively respond to the changing administrative environment and the diverse needs of citizens, as well as to spread a culture of innovation and proactive administration within the organization.

View original imageThe workshop featured a special lecture titled 'Crisis and Breakthrough Concert,' an innovative performance called 'Laser Municipal Innovation Performance,' and an innovation education session on 'Innovation Design Thinking.' Participants learned strategies for practicing proactive administration and creative problem-solving methods, taking the opportunity to enhance their practical capacity for administrative innovation.
In particular, the case-based lectures and emotionally engaging performances were evaluated as having motivated employees toward innovation and served as an opportunity to strengthen their commitment to proactive change.
A city official stated, "Through this workshop, we were able to further enhance our employees' problem-solving abilities and flexible thinking," adding, "We will continue our efforts to spread a culture of municipal innovation and proactive administration that citizens can truly experience."
