"Pig on Incheon Expressway" Flood of Reports Causes Morning Commotion
"No Further Accidents Reported"
A pig fell off a livestock transport vehicle while traveling on a highway, causing a brief commotion.
According to Yonhap News on May 14, at around 8:00 a.m. near the Gyeyang Interchange (IC) on the No. 1 Ring Expressway in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, a pig being transported in a livestock truck fell onto the road. Following the incident, emergency services received multiple reports stating that "there is a pig on the highway shoulder."
Police and Korea Expressway Corporation personnel responded to the reports and managed the scene until the livestock transport vehicle returned to the site, reloaded the pig, and left. Fortunately, no additional damage or injuries occurred as a result of this incident.

A police official stated, "The pig being transported fell from the vehicle," and added, "Since it moved to the shoulder, there were no further accidents or traffic congestion."
