In particular, this service is expected to provide citizens with convenient opportunities to participate in donations, while also supporting welfare services for vulnerable groups through customized fundraising activities, thereby contributing to the spread of a culture of sharing within the local community.
DongHoon Byun, Vice President of Kona I Co., Ltd., stated, "It is meaningful to contribute to the creation of a convenient and transparent donation culture, as donations can be made easily through the Gwangju Love Card platform and donation histories can also be checked with ease."
HyoJin Kim, Secretary General of the Gyeonggi Branch of the Community Chest of Korea, also said, "This agreement will serve to lower the barriers to participation in donations, and I expect that the warm interest of Gwangju citizens will be connected to tangible support for neighbors with various welfare needs."
Mayor SaeHwan Bang emphasized, "Taking this agreement as an opportunity, we will actively discover diverse donation content and do our best to foster a healthy culture of sharing where both donors and beneficiaries can thrive together."
