View original imageSuncheon Future Science High School announced on May 14 that it recently signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with the Energy Valley Enterprise Development Institute to cultivate core talents who will lead the future energy industry and to revitalize the local economy.
Through this agreement, the two institutions plan to: ▲ support cooperative activities for students’ career exploration and employment connections; ▲ provide expert consultations and opportunities for field trips to ensure a successful partnership; and ▲ share human and material resources to secure the practicality and expertise of vocational education.
This industry-academia cooperation agreement is expected to provide Suncheon Future Science High School students with opportunities to develop expertise in the energy sector and to set their future career paths. In addition, for member companies of the Energy Valley Enterprise Development Institute, including those in the Naju Innovation Industrial Complex, the agreement is anticipated to serve as an important foundation for securing promising local talent and enhancing competitiveness through technological exchange.
Lee Heegeon, principal of Suncheon Future Science High School, stated, "Through this industry-academia cooperation with the Energy Valley Enterprise Development Institute, our students have gained a significant opportunity to become core talents who will lead the future energy industry," adding, "We will do our utmost to foster talents who contribute to the development of the local community through education that encompasses both theory and practice."
Lee Hyunchan, director of the Energy Valley Enterprise Development Institute, emphasized, "We are now able to lead innovation in the future energy industry together with the talents of Suncheon Future Science High School," and continued, "Through this cooperation, we will actively support not only the revitalization of the local economy but also efforts to brighten the future of South Korea's energy industry."
