Gwangju Employers Federation to Hold Friday Breakfast Forum on "Strategies for Korean Companies Entering the Chinese Market" on May 16
The Gwangju Employers Federation announced on May 14 that it will invite Dr. Zhao Pingyu, an expert on China, to deliver a special lecture at the 1,685th Friday Breakfast Forum on May 16, under the theme "Strategies for Korean Companies Entering the Chinese Market."
This special lecture is expected to focus on the issues surrounding the Trump administration's second term tariff policies toward China, as well as strategies for entering the Chinese market in the future. The forum will be attended by Consul Huang Huang, Consul Xue Zibo, the President and Vice President of the Korea Yunnan Business Association, among others.
Dr. Zhao currently serves as the Executive Representative of the Korea-China Business Association, Special Advisor to the China Yanda Group, Vice Chairman of the Jangbogo Global Foundation, Director of the Korean Peninsula Preemptive Peace Foundation, and Senior Vice President of the China Yanda Group. He has published books such as "If You Don't Understand China, You Can't Surpass China," and has appeared on various broadcasts including KBS's "Global Success Era" and Arirang TV.
The forum will cover the following topics in order: recognizing the Chinese market as the Korean market, the direction of the Chinese economy in 2025, the US-China tariff war, the outlook for the Chinese capital market in 2025, the Chinese market as a battleground for professionals, reasons for entering China, strategies for small and medium-sized enterprises to enter China, and strategies for entering major Chinese cities.
Yang Jinseok, Chairman of the Gwangju Employers Federation, stated, "Dr. Zhao has lived and managed businesses in China, which is geographically the closest country to Korea, for 25 years.
