View original imageThe group Seventeen is making a comeback with their new title track "Thunder," according to their agency Pledis Entertainment on May 14.
On the previous day at 10 p.m., Seventeen revealed the tracklist for their 5th full-length album "Happy Burstday" through their official social networking service (SNS) accounts.
This album consists of a total of 16 tracks, including three group songs and solo tracks from all 13 members. The title track "Thunder" uses the imagery of thunder and lightning to depict the members, who have established themselves as unique individuals, expanding their own worlds. Woozi and Bumzu co-wrote and co-composed the song, with S.Coups also participating in the composition.
The opening track "HBD," an abbreviation for "Happy Birthday," is an intense opener that announces Seventeen's rebirth as they celebrate their 10th anniversary since debut. For the group song "Bad Influence," world-renowned artist Pharrell Williams participated in the writing, composition, and production.
For the first time in a Seventeen album, solo tracks from every member are included. These 13 tracks are: "Skyfall" by The8, "Fortunate Change" by Joshua, "99.9%" by Wonwoo, "Raindrops" by Seungkwan, "Damage (feat. Timbaland)" by Hoshi, "Shake It Off" by Mingyu, "Happy Virus" by Dokyeom, "Fate" by Woozi, "Shining Star" by Vernon, "Gemini" by Jun, "Trigger" by Dino, "Coincidence" by Jeonghan, and "Jungle" by S.Coups.
This album also features producer Timbaland, who has worked with artists such as Pharrell Williams, Madonna, Mariah Carey, and Sam Smith.
