Taiwan's TSMC, the world's largest semiconductor foundry, is scheduled to unveil its future development roadmap?including the 1.4-nanometer process and humanoid technologies?on May 15, according to reports from Taiwan media such as China Times on May 13.
According to related sources, TSMC will hold a technology forum in the Hsinchu area of northern Taiwan on May 15.
The source explained that during this technology forum, TSMC will focus on high-performance computing (HPC), smartphones, Internet of Things (IoT) and automotive platform solution strategies, advanced packaging such as SoW (System on Wafer)-X, and audiovisual semiconductors related to humanoids.
The source added that TSMC will also reveal its technological innovations in fields such as ultra-low power, embedded memory, sensor technology, and silicon photonics.
