A fire broke out at a logistics center located in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, prompting firefighters to begin extinguishing efforts.
According to the National Fire Agency, a report was received at 10:29 a.m. on May 13 that a fire had started at a logistics center in Sujeong-ri, Bubal-eup, Icheon, Gyeonggi Province. Firefighters arrived at the scene within seven minutes and immediately issued Response Level 1. Due to concerns that the fire could spread, they raised the response to Level 2 at around 10:44 a.m.
This logistics center is a reinforced concrete building with three floors above ground and one basement level, and a total floor area of 80,893 square meters. So far, no casualties have been reported. As the fire broke out, 26 people evacuated on their own.

Firefighters have deployed 55 pieces of equipment and 160 personnel to extinguish the fire. The Central 119 Rescue Headquarters and the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters Special Response Team have dispatched high-performance chemical fire trucks and unmanned demolition water cannons.
