The project is divided into the following categories: the Convergence Support Project, the Residential Solar Power Support Project, and the Energy Self-Sufficient Village Project.
A budget of 1.7 billion won will be allocated to the 'Renewable Energy Convergence Support Project.' The city will select 250 sites in the western and southern regions to promote the adoption of solar, solar thermal, and geothermal energy. For the northern region, a demand survey is currently underway to identify target sites for next year's project. Those wishing to participate can apply at their local administrative welfare center by May 27.
The 'Residential Solar Power Support Project' will provide 60% of the installation cost for 76 households. Households can install solar power systems at a personal expense of around 2 million won. Applications for 30 households under the national government-linked project have closed, while applications for 46 households under the Gyeonggi Province-linked project will be accepted starting May 26.
The 'Energy Self-Sufficient Village Project' aims to expand the supply of eco-friendly energy to energy-vulnerable groups, supporting the installation of residential solar power systems and the construction of village solar power plants in three villages.
