CGV Exhibits Media Art on Korea Investment & Securities Headquarters Exterior
Operating 'Kiss Square'... Showcasing Lee Jungseop's 'Bull'
CJ CGV announced on May 12 that it will operate 'Kiss Square' in partnership with Korea Investment & Securities. Kiss Square is a giant media wall installed on the exterior of the Korea Investment & Securities headquarters in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. It exhibits media art that combines real-time financial information with a variety of cultural content.
The highlight of this collaboration is 'Bull', a masterpiece by Lee Jungseop, a leading figure in modern Korean art. The work captures dynamism and vitality through 3D anamorphic illusion technology. 3D anamorphic illusion is a technique that makes images or videos appear three-dimensional only from a specific angle. Park Junghoon, Creative Director at CGV, stated, "This will be recorded as a monumental moment in the history of Korean media art," and added, "We hope it will serve as a powerful starting point for the future of financial media."
