SEMAS Holds Budget-Saving Idea Contest
Applications Accepted Until May 30
The Korea Small Enterprise and Market Service (SEMAS) announced on May 12 that it will hold the "2025 National Participatory Budget-Saving Idea Contest" until May 30 in order to seek ways to reduce expenses in collaboration with the public.
The contest topics include improving unnecessary expenditure structures, enhancing project efficiency, and streamlining operations through digital transformation, as well as other budget-saving measures across the organization.
Any member of the public interested in SEMAS's budget efficiency can participate by completing the application documents and submitting them via email.
SEMAS will review the suitability and feasibility of the submitted proposals during the first round of evaluation. In the second round, a judging panel composed of internal and external members will assess the proposals based on five criteria: effectiveness, creativity, importance, feasibility, and sustainability.
The three best proposals will receive the SEMAS President's Award and a prize of 250,000 won in Onnuri gift certificates.
