View original imageOn this day, Jae-Yeon Kim, the Progressive Party presidential candidate, stated at the "Plaza Presidential Alliance Political Civil Solidarity - Joint Meeting of All Parties" held at the National Assembly, "As the Progressive Party presidential candidate, I will devote everything to achieve a change of government that can harness the power of the plaza as a driving force for eradicating the forces of insurrection and for major social reform." She continued, "I support Lee Jaemyung, the Democratic Party candidate, as the plaza presidential candidate and will conclude my activities as a preliminary presidential candidate."
Kim said, "Today, we declare the beginning of a plaza alliance politics to prevent the return to power of far-right insurrectionist forces and to steadfastly pursue the tasks of major social reform," adding, "Ahead of the 21st presidential election, we intend to further unite the power of the plaza alliance to move toward a new Republic of Korea."
